Altough the grip is made of steel, the balance is surprisingly good, making it easy to handle.
It has a slight convex grind, but thin behind the edge. Giving a blade with sturdy and sharp edge.
Made from carbon steel, this knife dulls a wee bit quicker than stainless ones, but on the other hand easier to sharpen to a veritable razor.
