Handcrafted in Sweden

  • “En kniv som får tomaterna att spontandela sig i skräck och potatisen att falla sönder i papperstunna skivor.”

Find your favorite knife

Here you’ll find my handcrafted chefs and kitchen knives, made from the best steels and selected materials. My knives are developed in close collaboration with professional chefs. This gives you as a customer a knife that makes cooking a pure pleasure. Do yourself a lifelong favor and invest in your new favorite knife!

What makes my knives unique?

  • I use only the best knife steels available. For carbon steel blades or, blades with a steel core, I use Apex Ultra, which is a hardness steel (Hrc 66+) with great edge redention and very good edge stability.

For stainless blades I use 14C28N. A fine grained steel that can take a razor sharp edge without being too vunerable. I usally harden this steel to Hrc 62

For damascus or patternwelded blades I prefer Apex Ultra/15N20 combo. That´s one of the most high preforming combinations you can get.

  • To me, design isn’t just about looks, but about handling, weight distribution, sharpness, how well it cuts etc. The function of the knife comes first - a blade without function is completely useless.

I have developed my designs in cooperation with professional chefs.

In my designs I like to explore different styles, expressions and materials. Damascus with copper and nickel, mosaic patterns as well as new handle designs and materials.

  • Although customization is more costly, it gives you possibilities to design your own personal knife in cooperation with me.

It could be a special piece, inlaid with gold and stones, or an extra long slicing blade, shaped like a japanese sword. Or a nice standard knife, but made to fit your hand and how you like to work with it.

Don’t hesitate to contct me for a truly unique knife

Who am I?

  • What I Love

The focus of creating, being in the great NOW. The edge that almost disappears into nothingness, glowing patterns moving under my hammer blows. Shaping the steel, bringing it to life.

  • My passion

To push my boundaries within the craft. Experiencing new discoveries. Trying to think outside the box. Would it be possible ta make a handle out of concrete, steel or even LEGO? Cannister with discarded copper wire and steel powder? Perfection and playfulness, chaos within order.

  • My experience

I have explored this exciting craft for almost 30 years, but I am still a curious boy at heart, and discover new things almost every day! I laid my foundations as a bladsmiths apprentice when I was 23 years old. I developed my artistic expression and design astethics at HDK Steneby. I got my BA degree in 2005 and started my own business in 2009. Since then i have been working as a metal artist and sculptor, with private as well as public commisions.
